It continues to be very cheap to buy online this week from UK websites.
£1 of shopping will cost you only €1.11. This is a slight increase from 5 days ago, when the rate was £1:€1.10.
This figures are from Yahoo’s currency converter. If you are buying with your standard EURO based credit card issued by an Irish bank, you can expect your bank to add on their fees of between 2%-2.75%, making the price those few percentage points higher.

Pay less for shipping and returns at Asos
Irish eyes are smiling this week with news from Asos that they have introduced cheaper and better shipping and returns policies for Irish buyers.
Asos already had introduced some months ago the ability to pay with your Laser card … and in February had reduced their Standard delivery charges to €2.99 for delivery within 6 days. Now their Express delivery charge is only €5.99, for delivery within 3 days.
But more siginficantly, they have introduced local returns at a very acceptable price of only €2.99.
Asos are the only website which offer both Laser card acceptance AND the ability to pay in Sterling (saving you Euros) on our website, with the notable exception of Rowlands Clothing who do the same.
