Save over €40 on UGG boots
I priced real, authentic UGG’s today in a Dublin store – and checked with their online web site - and I reckon you can save over €40 on Classic Short or Tall boots by buying from some UK webstores over others.
In the store I checked, the price of Classic Short UGGS on the “Irish” store was £150 … but if you were ordering from Ireland, they changed the price to €210. This is a rip-off, considering today’s EURO / Sterling exchange rate suggest the price should be about €163.
Instead, if you bought UGG boots at Cloggs, they allow your credit card to convert the exchange rate and therefore you would end up paying about €170 and saving yourself about €40. After the credit card company has added their 1.5% - 2%, the cost would be about €170.
So make the sensible decision … shop at places like Cloggs and don’t shop at UK webstores that convert to EUROS at unfavourable rates.
